Jess Denke is the Community Engagement Librarian at Muhlenberg College, where she is responsible for information literacy instruction to the social sciences. Jess is passionate about relationship building as an avenue for increasing knowledge, equity, and dignity. Her current work focuses on the application of relational organizing methods to academia, including the study of vulnerability and active listening in information literacy instruction, organizational culture, and community-engaged research. Jess has been working with the Muhlenberg College Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program since 2018.
